Once upon a time in a Village not so far away..
....Two friends opened a restaurant with the hopes that it would stay!
Well, fortunately for Mike and J.R. it has stayed! Mike and J.R. met in Chicago via Texas and Florida (Mike's the one with the Texas accent), both had worked for Entertainment One, a company partially owned by Chicago Bear Legend, Walter Payton. Their first location was opened in Schaumburg (1993) followed by Carol Stream (1996). They opened with the intention of providing GREAT quality food, with BIG portions at a reasonable price with a FUN and INVITING atmoshere. Little did either know that they had created the original "NEIGHBORHOOD HANGOUT" along with what would soon be referred to as their "WORLD'S BEST CHICKEN FINGERS!" Yep, that's right, chickens have fingers (Shhh!, it's part of the secret). |

If your not a VTG, Village, or Tavern regular, as we are affectionately called by our regular guests, it's hard to explain how or why our "World Famous Chicken Fingers" are so GOOD, it may be the sauce (a top secret Honey-Mustard sauce) or the fact that each order is battered and cooked to order, never frozen. If you are not, you'll just have to come in and check them out along with a few other guests favorites...Our NACHOROMA, trust me you have NEVER had nachos like these or our fall-off the bone BABY BACK BBQ RIBS!
