For years, restaurants have come and gone at this location, but the owners of the Village Tavern & Grill seem to have found a winning formula: a family-style restaurant that also offers enough of a bar/pub flavor to attract parents with their children as well as the weekend singles crowd. Friday fish fries are very crowded -- expect to wait for a table if you arrive between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Food portions are more than ample and it's hard to imagine finding a sandwich, appetizer, salad or side dish that won't satisfy even the heartiest appetite. Specialties include beef stroganoff, a buffalo chicken sandwich and a huge nacho platter known as the "Nachorama."
